Cilento Sweet Rolls
Ingredients
For the rolls:
1 Kg plain flour
4 eggs
80 - 100 g sugar
1 glass of extra-virgin olive oil
Spumante (sparkling wine)
Preparation
Knead all the ingredients together and leave the pastry on a board for a couple of hours after covering the dough with cling film. Knead again and roll out. Make squares about 12 cm sided, roll them around metal cylinders and fry them in a pan filled with olive oil.
Fry the rolls singularly, let cool down and fill them with white custard from one end and with chocolate custard from the other. Sprinkle with iced-sugar.
